Many quotes from a variety of well-known sources address the importance of a good attitude. Here are some of the ones I like in particular:
“People may hear your words but they feel your attitude.” – John C. Maxwell
“Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.” – Zig Ziglar
“Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character.” – Albert Einstein
“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” – Proverbs 17:22
“Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you’re going to live your life.” – Joel Osteen
“Bad attitudes will ruin your team.” – Terry Bradshaw
“This you know, my beloved brethren, but everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.” – James 1:19
“Your attitude is like a price tag. It shows how valuable you are.” – Unknown
A positive attitude can contribute towards great things and yet a poor attitude can lead to frustration, delay and missed opportunities. We all know deep inside if we have a poor attitude. Chapter 5 in my book has a self assessment to identify negative customer service attitudes. If you haven’t yet purchased the book, please do so and take the assessment.
Have a positive and wonderful day!
